St Philip’s Anglican Church, Eastwood is seeking a pastorally gifted minister for the part-time position of Assistant Minister with the Chinese-speaking congregations and ministries. This role is for a minimum of 4 days.
This position will be suited to a person who enjoys diversity in ministry, flexibility to develop into other ministry roles as well as a desire to be a key leader within a vibrant, multicultural parish. Primarily, this position will involve working with Mandarin speakers of all ages and stages of life, with a particular focus on growing family ministries.
They will work in a ministry team, including pastors, administration and children’s and youth ministry workers.
Reporting directly to the Rector, this role will be a key leadership role working alongside 2 other Chinese pastors (Mandarin and Cantonese speaking), as well as the larger staff team of St Phil’s, which covers 5 language groups, 2 main sites and 10 congregations on a Sunday.
The successful candidate will be a passionate preacher, innovative in ministry, organised, punctual and pastorally gifted.
Remuneration and conditions are in line with Diocesan guidelines.
